Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 575 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening, July 6.
According to the NCDC, of the 575 COVID-19 cases recorded on Monday evening, 123 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, FCT-100 Delta-58 Edo-52 Ogun-42 Katsina-24 Bayelsa-23 Rivers-22 Borno-19 Plateau-18 Ondo-18 Oyo-17 Kwara-15 Osun-13 Enugu-9 Nasarawa-7 Abia-6 Cross River-5 Kaduna-3 Ekiti-1, southwest Nigeria.
The NCDC tweeted: “575 new cases of COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-123 FCT-100 Delta-58 Edo-52 Ogun-42 Katsina-24 Bayelsa-23 Rivers-22 Borno-19 Plateau-18 Ondo-18 Oyo-17 Kwara-15 Osun-13 Enugu-9 Nasarawa-7 Abia-6 Cross River-5 Kaduna-3 Ekiti-1 29,286 confirmed 11,828 discharged 654 deaths,” the tweet added.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty-nine thousand, two hundred and eighty-six (29,286) with eleven thousand, eight hundred and twenty-eight (11,828) people discharged and six hundred and fifty-four (654) deaths recorded so far.
