Cyber fraudster and Nigerian-Dubai based instagram celebrity, Ramoni Igbalode, popularly known as Hushpuppi has reportedly hired the lawyer of late Afro Pop singer, Micheal Jackson to represent him.
According to reports circulating the internet, the lawyer, identified as Mark Geragos, would be the head of his legal team.
Nigerian artist, Sam Klef took to his Instagram page to praise Hushpuppi as he feels consulting Mark Geragos, who was the personal lawyer for late Micheal Jackson was a smart move. He added that Hushpuppi might just walk free with that.
He wrote; “Mark Geragos is Hushpuppi lawyer. Former Micheal Jackson lawyer This movie go sweet pass Netflix… he might not even spend all his time.. he will work with the government”.
Thelagostimes recalls that Hushpuppi, known for his reckless display of wealth on social media, was arrested for allegedly hacking into the United States (US) unemployed database and impersonating citizens qualified for unemployment funds.
He and his accomplices in Nigeria, Dubai and other countries allegedly defrauded the US of over $100 million meant for Native Americans in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
