Former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Dr Iyiola Omisore, has celebrated the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, describing him as a humble General in God’s army, just as he prayed to God to grant him more years and good health to continue impacting on lives.
In a personally signed statement to commemorate the 76th birthday ceremony of the revered man of God, Otunba Omisore, described Adeboye as a spiritual father and leader worthy of emulation in all ramifications, noting that his life had always taught lessons in godliness, humility and service.
The two-term senator representing Osun East District, where Pastor Adeboye hailed from, maintained that the life of the man of God should teach leaders in all areas of human endeavours the premium place of selflessness, service and humility.
“I join the rest of the world to celebrate Pastor Adeboye, a humble General in God’s kingdom and a man for whom I have great respect as a father, spiritual leader and exemplary personality. At 76, Baba Adeboye has impacted on humanity through his service to God and commitment to building the nation through spiritual leadership. I pray to God to grant Daddy G.O more strength and grace to do greater exploits in His name,” Omisore stated.
