Victims of the Sunday, June 5 massacre at St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, have been buried.
Thelagostimes gathered that a funeral mass was held for the victims on Friday, with twenty-one coffins brought to the church for the funeral service.
However, according to earlier reports, about 40 people, including children, were killed by the yet-to-be-identified gunmen inside the church, with about 80 others sustaining varying degrees of injuries during the attack.
In attendance during the funeral service were Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and members of the State Executive Council.
