“Prostitution Is A Crime In Nigeria Because Prostitutes Don’t Pay Tax” – Police

The head of police Crime Response Unit(CRU) and an Assistant Commissioner of Police(ACP) Yomi Shogunle has shared that prostitution is illegal and a big crime in Nigeria’s constitution.

Yomi Shogunle’s remark follows the outrage and feedback that followed the police arrest on whores in the Abuja city.

Shogunle who made his claims known through his Twitter handle shared that prostitution is wrong on the grounds that:

•Prostitution is a crime under the law

•Prostitution is a sin under the 2 main religions of FCT residents

•Medicine says Prostitution is spreading HIV & STD

•Prostitution is the lifeline of violent criminals

•Prostitutes don’t pay tax

•Nigeria’s culture frowns at Prostitution
