Arsenal boss Unai Emery was among the thousands of mourners who attended the funeral of former Gunners star Jose Antonio Reyes, who was put to rest this Monday.

Reyes was reportedly killed when his Mercedes hit concrete blocks by the side of the motorway near the town of Alcala de Guadaira before overturning and bursting into flames.

The ex-Arsenal forward will be buried after a service at Santa Maria Church in Utrera, which started at 9.30am.

Reyes’ coffin was initially taken to Sevilla football club between the hours of 4pm and 9pm on Sunday. The coffin was later taken to the town hall for an overnight wake.

His cousin, Jonathan Reyes, 23, was also killed in the car crash. He was buried after his 6.30pm funeral on Sunday.

A third cousin, named as Juan Manuel Calderon, was in the car when it crashed, but was able to escape the charred vehicle.
