Tijani Oniru, one of the sons of Oba Abiodun Idowu Oniru, the late Oniru of Iruland who died in 2019 has been spotted in a viral video being beaten by some men suspected to be thugs.
The men however, had “security” inscribed on the outfit they wore.
Though what caused the altercation is still unknown at the moment, one of the “security” men was heard saying that he came to attack them. Tijani was subsequently pushed out of the gate.

Prince Tijani Oniru, better known to all simply as TJ is the other quiet younger brother of his more famous elder sibling Aremo Adesegun Abiodun Oniru.
Aremo Adesegun was the former Commissioner for Housing and later Waterfront & Infrastructural Development Lagos under the administration of Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN between 2007 & 2011. Prior to that, he had been a special adviser to the then Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2005.
The late Oba Abiodun Idowu Oniru, who ascended the throne in 1995 after his father had died in 1984 at the age 120, passed on late last year 2019 at age 82. He had reigned for exactly 24 years. His 1st son, Aremo had wanted to succeed him, but it didn’t quite happen like that, as another former Commissioner was picked instead to become the new monarch.
