President Bola Tinubu will make a New Year’s Day broadcast to the nation on Monday, January 1, 2024, at 7 a.m.
According to a statement issued on Sunday by Ajuri Ngelale, presidential spokesperson, television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.
Tinubu has been in Lagos where he celebrated Christmas and attended to dignatories who have been paying him homage.
When he arrived in Lagos recently, the president was welcomed by a waiting crowd of supporters and was received by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of the state.
On Tuesday, the governors, led by their chairman, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, met with the president at his the residence in Lagos.
