There was a fire outbreak under odo Iya alaro bridge in Ojota in Lagos on Sunday afternoon around 3;00pm
Thelagostimes gathered that smoke billowing took over the entire bridge made it impossible for free flow of traffic.
According to a twitter user, @stevevaughn, fire gutted a fuel tanker on the bridge but firefighters were not on ground to respond.

Another twitter user however said the smoke was as a result of scavengers who burn tyres in the area.
If you are approaching Ojota or moving towards Maryland, don't be scared seeing the heavy smoke, it's from under the iyalaro bridge, heard those aboki guys are burning tyres, I think it got out of control #Lagos #OdoiyalaroBridge pic.twitter.com/2aqN1PaBZT
