The lyaloja-General of Lagos lsland East and West, Alhaja Osuolale
lyabode Fagbemi, aged 80 years died in the early hours of today and had
since been buried according to lslamic rites,at the Abari cementery,in
Lagos lsland.
Present at the burial was the lyaloja-General of Nigeria, Chief(Mrs) Folashade Tinubu-Ojo,as well as market men and women,traditional rulers, politicians and several other dignataries.
Speaking after the burial rites,Chief Tinubu-Ojo, praised the late lyaloja for a life well spent in the service of the people. Adding that the market people she served selflessly,will miss her dearly.
On her part,Alhaja lyabode Dange,the spokeswoman and representative of the late lyaloja,eulogised her for a life spent in the service of humanity. ”Mama was one in a million and we will miss her for her kindness,love,philanthrophy and uncommon passion for the growth and welfare of traders,commerce,Lagos state and the country,in general.
”May Allah grant our mother eternal rest”, Alhaja Dange said in an emotion laden voice.
