As part of efforts to project Zamfara state to the world, the state governor, Bello Matawalle will be attending the 74th session of the UN General
Assembly (UNGA 74) in New York City.
The programme which started on 17th of September 2019 will come to an end on 30th September,2019.
This annual gathering features hundreds of events where world leaders will gather to discuss some of the biggest challenges facing the world and drive progress toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
TheLagostimes gathered that the first day of the high-level General Debate will be Tuesday, 24 September 2019.
During the event, there will be African Summit by the side where investors will be on ground. According to a close source, the governor will use the opportunity to introduce his state to the world and also bring investors for his Agriculture programme.
Meanwhile, a high-level meeting will be held during the General Assembly to launch “The Global Action Plan for Healthy Lives and Well-being for All: Strengthening collaboration among multilateral organizations to accelerate country progress on the health-related Sustainable Development Goals”.
