The Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University, Prof. Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun (SAN) has congratulated Prof. Bilkis Bidemi Idowu on her appointment as the new Provost, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED) by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Prof. Fagbohun, SAN, in his congratulatory message to Prof. Idowu, expressed delight at the appointment. He said: “I received with delight the heartwarming news of your appointment as Provost, AOCOED. Given your antecedent as a remarkable scholar and comsumate administrator, in the course of your service at the Lagos State University, this is certainly a well-deserved elevation, for which we are very proud.

“Your choice as Provost is a clear reflection of your doggedness, zeal and passion for the teaching profession as well as the drive for quality education in Lagos State.

“I am convinced that Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED) will benefit greatly from your acumen, expertise and wide experience in your tenure as provost and beyond.

Prof. Bilkis Bidemi Idowu, a Professor of Health Education has served in different capacities at the Lagos State University. She is a former Acting Dean of Students Affairs, and until her appointment the Deputy Director, Alumni, Lagos State University Directorate of Advancement (LASUDA).
