The Niger State government has announced a major success against terrorists in the state, saying 200 of them were killed in an operation that started on Sunday, Leadership Newspaper reports.

The State’s Commissioner of Local Government and Internal Security, Emmanuel Umar, made announcement to journalists on Wednesday afternoon.

The Commissioner said that most of the terrorists killed belonged to four terrorist groups, including the Ali Kawajo, Kachalla Halilu, Yellow Jonbros and Bello Tachi groups adding that most of the Commanders of the groups were neutralised.
