Former Nigeria vice president and opposition People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has returned to Nigeria from his United States visit.

Recall the Thelagostimes reported that Atiku left Nigeria on Thursday, 17th January, 2019 for the US for the first time in 12 years.

While in the US, he spoke at the United States Chamber of Commerce, met with a Nigerian community and also visited the Voice of America office.

Atiku also met with top US government officials to discuss business and other potential collaborations between Nigeria and America if he emerges president after the 2019 general election.

Meanwhile, the presidential debate organised by the Nigerian Election Debate Group (NEDG) and the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria is scheduled to hold today by 7pm at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.

President Mohammadu Buhari, Atiku Abubakar and three other presidential candidates are expected to sell themselves to Nigerians during the debate.
