The coronavirus test conducted for Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has come back positive.

The governor had gone into self-isolation after meeting with Mohammed, the son of former Vice-President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.

consequently, he also ran the test to determine if he had contracted the disease or not.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Mukhtar Gidado, however, disclosed in a media statement made available on Tuesday that his principal has tested positive for the disease.
