The National Industrial Court of Nigeria has ordered the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to call off its ongoing nationwide strike.

Thelagostimes recalls that the union has been on strike since February.

Among other requests, the union is calling for improved funding for universities and a review of salaries for lecturers.

The Federal Government in a suit, prayed for the order for ASUU to call off its seven months strike.
