Six days after the attack on a catholic church in Owo, Ondo state, four persons, including tea sellers, a commercial driver and road side traders have been shot dead by gunmen operating on motorcycles in the state.

According to reports, the incidence occured around Sabo and Igba area of Ondo town.

A source said the gunmen also robbed some residents of the area before they left the scene.

Confirming the killing, a police source said the gunmen were armed robbers who attempted to rob residence and traders in the area.
