BREAKING: Gov Abiodun Re-elected In Ogun
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun as winner of the governorship election held in the state on Saturday.
The governor was re-elected for a second term of four years. He polled 276,298 votes.
Thelagostimes gathered that Abiodun defeated the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in the state, Oladipupo Adebutu, who polled 262,383 votes and 12 other candidates.
The returning officer of the governorship election in the state, Prof. Kayode Adebowale disclosed that 2,688,305 people were registered while accredited voters were 666,406.
He added that a total of 645,133 votes were valid while 18,835 votes were rejected.
