BREAKING: Nigeria Records Fresh 11 Cases As Coronavirus Toll Rises To 81
Nigeria has confirmed eleven new cases of the novel coronavirus infection, national center for Disease control has disclosed.
The agency gave the update on it official twitter handle at almost midnight on Friday.
The new cases bring the total number of coronavirus case in Nigeria to 81.
It would be recalled that the agency earlier in the day l announced the confirmation of five new cases.
The overall confirmed cases on Friday, sixteen, is the highest in a day since the country confirmed its first case of the virulent infection in February, surpassing the hitherto single day highest confirmed cases of Thursday, fifteen.
Eight of the new cases are in Lagos, Two in Enugu who recorded its first cases and one in Edo.
