BREAKING: Popular Musician, Sir Victor Uwaifo Is Dead

Veteran Nigerian musician, writer, sculptor and university lecturer, Professor Sir Victor Uwaifo is dead.
Thelagostimes gathered that the popular musician died at the Stella Obasanjo Hospital in Benin.
He was aged 80.
Sir Victor Uwaifo is the winner of the first gold disc in Africa with his popular song Joromi, released in 1965. Another gold disc followed this in Guitar boy, Arabade, Ekassa series and Akwete music. He recorded under the stage name Victor Uwaifo and His Titibitis.
His genre of music was Highlife, and he has been active in the music scene since the 1960s.
