Nigerian senators have stormed the national hospital to see Dino Melaye, one of their colleagues who was hospitalised after jumping out of a moving police vehicle.

Mr Melaye jumped out to avoid being taking to Lokoja to stand trial in a slew of criminal allegations, including murder.

The senators arrived st 1:29 p.m. in three buses shortly after suspending plenary for the same purpose.
