As part of efforts to create a cleaner, healthier Lagos, The Architects Place Ltd, in collaboration with the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, has introduced an initiative to provide proper waste disposal bins across the state.

The goal of this project is to build a habit of proper waste sorting and disposal among residents, businesses, and organizations.

These special bins, designed for different types of waste—recyclables, organic waste, and non-recyclables—will be placed in public areas, markets, and busy locations.

This initiative will help reduce waste in landfills and waterways, leading to better environmental health and fewer disease outbreaks.

By offering separate bins for recyclables, it will also encourage more recycling, reducing waste and protecting natural resources.

In view of this, everyone in Lagos —individuals, businesses, and institutions— are urged to join hands in this effort to improve waste management.
