Christmas With The Needy…As Kayode Alfred Foundation Puts Smiles On Widows

Christmas history tells the story of the three Kings of Orient who bore gifts and traversed afar. Celebrity journalist and style genius, Kayode Olanshile Alfred decided to imitate these Christmas figures this year by bearing gifts for widows. Of course, whereas the Orient Kings followed a yonder star, Alfred followed his heart.

2020 was a difficult year for many. The curtain opened with dreams and aspirations, but much of that went with the wind almost immediately after.

The Covid-19 pandemic pinched the vitality of the year, leaving the Christmas celebration almost entirely bereft of the characteristic cornucopia.

Thanks to individuals like Kayode Alfred, the burden can be offset, at least for a few.
This is the spirit with which the Aristocrat Clothings baron gathered many widows and the needy of the Lagos society to himself and his foundation, Kayode Alfred Foundation (KAF) on Wednesday the 23rd of December.

Held at the head office of Aristocrat Clothings at Omole Phase 1, Ojodu, Lagos, Kayode Alfred gave the widows nothing short of all of himself, as he personally organised and managed the event.

With a team in high spirits to walk in its boss’ footsteps, Kayode Alfred made handsome donations to the welfare of the assembly of widows, stirring their hopes in the future, their faith in humanity, and all their loves.

Among the gifts doled out by Alfred and co are food items and cash. One of the beneficiaries, self-identified as Mrs. Omotola, was glowing with gratitude, and especially thanked Kayode Alfred and his Foundation for remembering the underprivileged of society.

One of the reasons KAF’s gesture is a conversation starter is that it was only recently launched. Yet, less than a month after, Kayode Olanshile Alfred marshalled his resources to put smiles on the faces of the neglected. What other needs for a Santa Claus or a good man?
