Daughter Of Ex-Nigerian Minister, 10 Others Die In Plane Crash
An aircraft belonging to Caverton Aviation Cameroon, a subsidiary of Caverton Offshore Support Group based in Lagos, Nigeria crashed in Yaounde, Cameroon on Thursday, killing the 11 people on board.
Thelagostimes gathered that the ill-fated plane was piloted by Adzuayi Ewuga, the daughter of a former Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Solomon Ewuga.
According to reports, the plane which was flying from Yaounde Nsimalen Airport to Belabo, crashed due to bad weather.
Majority of the victims were said to be Nigerians.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) have said that investigation into the accident is the responsibility of the Cameroonian aviation authorities.
