The Nigerian Government has denied compiling a ‘no-fly list’ of persons who participated in the recent #EndSARS protests.

The Federal Ministry of Interior made this clarification in a tweet on Tuesday morning.

@MinOfInteriorNG wrote: “The Ministry of Interior did not, has not and will not generate any no-fly list. Ignore fake news, please!”

The Nigeria Immigration Service on Monday, reportedly prevented Modupe Odele from boarding her flight.

According to DailyPost, Odele is one of the lawyers that was involved in the #EndSARS protests against police brutality and extortion, offering free legal aid to persons who were unjustly arrested during the demonstrations.

She claimed to have been detained while her passport was seized by the officers and she missed her flight.
