Nigeria’s former Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has received an Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy degree at Tel Aviv University on economic development, poverty alleviation, transparency and inclusion.

She disclosed this via her verified twitter handle on Friday.

“Wonderful to receive an Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy degree from Tel Aviv University for my work on Economic Development, Poverty Alleviation, Transparency and Inclusion”, she wrote.

The ex minister was sighted among the chair board of governors TAU, Jacob Frenkel; president TAU, Joseph Klafter; and fellow honorees including former chair of the federal reserve, Janet Yellen, Chair UBS and former chair ECB and Bundesbank, Axel Weber.
