There was a fire outbreak in a building in Babs Animashaun, Surulere, Lagos this afternoon.

The fire reportedly broke out on after a gas explosion.

The extent of the damage is yet to be confirmed but numerous cars were reportedly gutted by the blaze.

TheLagostimes gatheted that officials of the Lagos State Fire Service are currently at the scene of the incident, trying to put out the fire.

However, at the time of filing this report, no casualty was recorded.
