Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has presented the 2024 Appropriation Bill to the state House of Assembly.

Thelagostimes reports that the governor made the presentation on Wednesday during a plenary consisting five members of the house loyal to him.

This came shortly after the state government commenced the demolition of the House of Assembly complex.

It was gathered that the 27 members of the House loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, were not present at the sitting.

The 27 lawmakers recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.
