How Governor Akinwunmi Ambode disgraced his deputy, walks her out of his office
Lest Lagosians begin to dream once more, of a State administered by a strong, compassionate and humane governor, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, the incumbent governor, symbolises no such character. Beneath his warm smiles and unassuming mien pulsates a brutishness, a chilling lethalness that is effectively masked with extraordinary spirit and talent.
Governor Ambode has a penchant for making news for the wrong reasons no doubt. Few days ago, he flayed his deputy, Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule, with uncommon chilliness; so broken was the Lagos State deputy governor that you will hardly believe, how much it altered her person for the worse.
Monday, June 15, 2015 will forever remain an embarrassing day for the Lagos State deputy governor as she was disgracefully walked out of the governor’s office by her boss, Governor Ambode. Findings revealed that the deputy governor had visited Governor Ambode in his office for a serious discussion that was not revealed to Naijahottestgist. In the middle of their dialogue, the governor was noted to have been pissed off and, in annoyance, asked his deputy to get out of his office.
The deputy governor was said to have allegedly felt so humiliated that she reluctantly and sadly walked out of the governor’s office. This development will probably make many to wonder what would have prompted such an unwarranted and intolerant attitude of Governor Ambode towards his deputy. Whatever the woman might have said wrong, wouldn’t it have been morally sound and better if the governor had been a bit lenient to her, bearing in mind that she is somebody’s wife.
