JUST IN: Coronavirus Patients Now 42 As Lagos, Ogun Record Two New Cases
Nigeria has confirmed two fresh cases of the novel infection called coronavirus bringing the total to 42.
However, 39 of the cases are active while two have been certified free of the virulent infection and discharged with one death recorded.
The National center for Disease control, NCDC, made this known on Tuesday on its official twitter handle.
The agency said one of the new patients was a returning traveler while the second case was a contact of a previously confirmed case.
