JUST IN: Nigeria Records 49 New Cases As COVID-19 Toll Crosses 500 Mark
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the confirmation of fourty-nine new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
The agency made the announcement in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
According to the agency, of the 49 fresh cases, 23 are detected in Lagos, 12 are in Abuja, 10 in Kano, 2 in Ogun, 1 In Oyo and Ekiti.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 542, of which 166 have been discharged and 19 deaths recorded.
