The Senate, on Tuesday, granted the request of President Bola Tinubu to appoint 20 special advisers.

The President’s request was granted after it was read by Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, on the floor of the upper legislative chamber.

However, the names of the 20 special advisers were not listed.

The Senate Leader, Senator Ibrahim Gobir moved the motion for the consideration of the request while the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Philip Aduda seconded it.
