Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has arrived Kaduna State for the North-West flag-off of the party’s presidential and governorship campaign rally.

Thelagostimes gathered that Tinubu was accompanied by his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, the Director General of APC Presidential Campaign Council and Governor of Plateau state, Simon Lalong, the Governors of Kano, Abdullahi Ganduje, Kebbi, Atiku Bagudu and Jigawa, Abubakar Badaru.

He was received at the Dana Air wing of the Nigerian Air Force Base, by Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai; the governorship candidate, Mal. Uba Sani; Kaduna Speaker Yusuf Zailani and other top government functionaries.

Following his arrival in Kaduna, the former Lagos State governor proceeded to Birnin Gwari Local Government Area, one of the councils ravaged by insurgency and banditry.

Tinubu is expected to meet with stakeholders, including the business community, religious and traditional leaders on Monday night.

Meanwhile, the rally is scheduled to take place at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on Tuesday.
