West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released results of 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) which was written between May and June.

The body announced this through a statement posted on its verified X handle on Monday.

“The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform Candidates who sat WASSCE for School Candidates, 2024 that the result has officially been released today, Monday, August 12, 2024. To access the result, log on to https://waecdirect.org.”

It was gathered that a total of 1,814,736 candidates registered for the examination from 25,126 secondary schools across Nigeria.

Of this number, 1,805,216 candidates sat the examination.
