Kayode Olanshile Alfred’s Aristocrat Clothing Receives City People Special Recognition Awards
Stadplus Events & Conference Centre was the point of meeting for leading personalities of the fashion industry on Sunday, November 20, 2020.
Organised by City People Magazine and hosted by celebrity blogger and CEO of Bodex Media, Florence Bodex Hungbo, the 3rd edition of the A-list City People Online Fashion and Beauty Awards was as glamorous and colourful as a beauty pageant.
The idea behind the City People Fashion and Beauty Awards show is to celebrate the ‘slayers’ of the fashion/beauty industry, especially top designers and businesses.
As expected, the event was classy, featuring the nobility of the industry in their elegant greens and stylish reds.
However, the highlight of the event was the celebration of over 50 distinguished fashion personalities, creators and proponents who decided the fashion styles/trends for/in 2020. One of these was Kayode Olanshile Alfred.
Striking as always, with a fashion presence far removed from the crowd, Kayode Alfred was ushered to the stage by renowned comedian, Bash D Cash and Florence Bodex Hungbo, the anchors of the event.
Kayode Alfred’s award was given in honour of his many contributions to the fashion industry in 2020, especially in his participation in deciding trends and upping the clothing preferences of his vast—and growing—clientele.
The City People awards was a fine addition and decorational piece for Kayode Alfred who is still celebrating his three-front launch: Aristocrat Flagship store, Aristocrat Institute, and a laundry and drycleaning service company.
The launching was one of the highlight events in November, and was well attended by the A-list of the A-list: from news media bosses like Mayor Akinpelu (of Global Excellence Magazine), Akogun Lanre Alfred (of The Capital), and Seye Kehinde (of City People); to political figures like Chief Press Officer to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Prince Layinka Oyedeji, and the aides to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun: Akogun Lanre and Lara Alfred—to name a few.
For a celebrity journalist slash style genius, the special recognition of City People is a fitting end to a fine year, in spite of its complications.
With 2021 in view, Kayode Olanshile Alfred’s Aristocrat Clothings tops many lists as a major Nigerian fashion and style establishment.
