Nigeria Records 17 New Cases As Coronavirus Toll Crosses 300 Mark
Niger and Anambra state have joined the list of states battling with the coronavirus pandemic, this is as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) annonced that the country has recorded seventeen new cases.
NCDC announced this in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
According to NCDC, Of the seventeen fresh cases, eight are confirmed in Lagos, three in Kastina, two in Abuja, one in Kaduna and Ondo while Niger and Anambra who recorded their first cases also have one each.
The agency also disclosed that three patients who were initially counted as Lagos cases have been transferred to Ogun. The three patients, according to the agency, live in satellite town in Ogun close to Lagos.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 305.
However, there is increase in recovery toll also as ten new patients got discharged today, bringing the total number of discharged patients to 58 with seven deaths confirmed.

Three cases previously included as Lagos state cases have been transferred to Ogun state. The three cases live in satellite towns in Ogun close to Lagos
Therefore, Lagos State has reported 163 confirmed cases while Ogun State has reported 7 confirmed cases
