Nigeria Records 20 New Cases As Coronavirus Spreads To Ondo, Total Now 210
The cases of coronavirus in Nigeria has crossed the 200 mark with twenty new cases recorded on Friday.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known on its official twitter page in its daily situation report.
Of the twenty new cases, eleven were confirmed in Lagos, three in Abuja, three in Edo, two in Osun and one in Ondo who recorded it first case of the infection.
However, two new deaths have been recorded bringing the total number of deaths to four, while twenty five patients have been dischargedpatients have been discharged.
LagosTimes understands that the index case in Ondo is a milltary who returned from India. He was isolated upon us return and monitored by the medical team of the military and Ondo State.
He was scheduled to be be moved to the Ondo state isolation centre today.
