Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 242 new COVID-19 cases on Monday.

Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with 88 while Kano came behind with 64 cases.

Meanwhile, total number of discharged patients now stands at 902, with the 1000 mark projected to be reached before the end of the week.

There are currently 3499 active cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
