Nigeria Records 91 Fresh Cases As COVID-19 Toll Hits 1273
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Sunday announced that the country has confirmed ninety one new cases of COVID-19.
The agency made the announcement in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page on Sunday.
According to the agency, of the 91 new cases, Lagos has 43, Sokoto 8, Taraba 6, Kaduna and Gombe 5 each, Ondo, Abuja, Edo, Oyo, Rivers and Bauchi have 3 each, Osun 2, Bayelsa Ebonyi and Kebbi have 1 each.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 1273, out of which 239 have been discharged and 40 deaths have been recorded.
