Nigerians React As Buhari Approves N37b For National Assembly Renovation
Following reports that President Muhammadu Buhari approved N37 billion for the renovation of the National Assembly complex, Nigerians have taken to social media to express their displeasure over the development.
Thelagostimes gathered that the Senate president, Ahmad Lawan, while speaking with journalists in Abuja on Monday said there has been no major renovation of the National Assembly building for 20 years and many parts of the property had become dilapidated.
Hence, the sum of N37 billion was reportedly sourced and given for the rehabilitation. This has however sparked outrage among Nigerians as many described the approval as a waste of money and an avenue to loot funds.

Where did Nigerians offend the 9th Assembly?
How did they approve such idiocy: #37Billion Naira for renovation of the National Assembly & paltry #48 billion for capital expenditure in Education..No roads ..no good health facilities
What kind of Leadership is this? pic.twitter.com/DmMzFxpxIs

If you are in 2019 and you can see all what Buhari is doing to we Nigerians and you still support him, it's either you you are benefiting from his government or you are suffering from generational curse.

Corruption is defined as the abuse of entrusted power for private gain. The abuse of entrusted power for private gain has ALWAYS been the main business of the National Assembly. It can be done as illegal earnings, “constituency projects”, budget padding, jeeps or even renovation.
