Organisers Unveil Festival of Art for Economic Development 3rd Edition
Dr. Bonny Abisogun Botoku, the MD Integration Art Palace & The Secretary General to the Nigeria & Benin Inter- Border Forum has announced the activities marking the 3rd Edition of the Festival of Art for Economic Development which will start from the 10th to 14th February, 2024 respectfully with the sole purpose of promoting arts, border security and safety.
This will take place simultaneously at the Oniko Palace Idiroko, the Nigeria Customs Conference room , Idiroko border and the Integration Art Palace and Tour Cultural Center .
In a press release given to the Media , information revealed that the event with the theme: ‘ The Role of the Nigeria Customs Service in Economic Development and National Security ‘, is an initiative of Integration Art Palace and Tour , powered by the Nigeria Customs Service ( Ogun 1 Area Command).
There are going to be Colloquium , Workshops, Village Square Art shows, Tourism, Art Exhibition and Gala Night .
Oba John Olakunle Ojo, the Oniko of Ikolaje – Idiroko is the Royal Chief Host , while the Chief Host is the Comptroller Ahmadu Bello Shaibu, the Customs Area Controller ( CAC) Ogun 1 Area Command.
Guest Speaker is Assistant Comptroller Emmanuella Chukwu ; The Media Director is
Chief Superintendent of Customs , Hammed Bukoye Oloyede ; the Director of Exhibition is
Dr. Johnson Oladesu , the HOD Fine Arts Department, the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State ; Dr. Bonny Abisogun Botoku doubles as the Executive Producer .
Some of the notable Personalities include
The Chairman Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Wale Agbekotun ; Alhaja Marufat Falola ( the Deputy Mayor Ifonyin Municipality) and Princess Jumoke Owoola, the immediate Past TESCOM Commissioner 2 in Ekiti State, amongst others.
