Anita Okoye, wife of popular Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rude Boy, has filed a petition for divorce.

Thelagostimes gathered that a leaked petition cited irreconcilable differences as the basis of the irretrievable breakdown of the seven-year-old marriage.

Rude Boy got married to Anita in 2014 after over 10 years of courtship.

According to reports, Paul Okoye is currently on a press tour and Anita has moved to the United States where she is working on her master’s degree as a graduate student.

A source confirmed that both parties will proceed amicably with the legal resolution and be the best co-parents in the interest of their children.

The source also said that Paul and Anita have always been very good friends and plan to remain on good terms and keep the friendship they have always had since their days as university students.
