The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has announced former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, as member with “immediate effect”.

The Director-General of the party’s PCC, Aminu Tambuwal disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.

He noted that Dogara’s appointment “is part of our continuous effect in joining hands with our Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to recover our Great Country, Nigeria”.

Recall that Dogara, who is a member of the All Progressives Congress, had expressed his grievances over the sane-faith, Muslim-Muslim ticket of the APC.

But, the Northern Leaders Consultative Forum, comprising Christian and Muslim religious and political leaders of northern extraction, including Dogara, on Friday, endorsed Atiku.
