President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Aisha Buhari, on Saturday, May 18, performed the lesser Hajj better known as Umurah in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement released by Femi Adesina, the presidential spokesperson on media and publicity, President Buhari performed the holy rite at the iconic Masjid Haram, the Muslims’ Holy Grand Mosque in Mekkah.

The president and his wife were seen in the midst of other Muslim faithfuls supplicating to God in a mandatory white robe clad by Muslims performing the holy rites.
