President Muhammadu Buhari has announced that he will dissolve his current cabinet on May 22.

The dissolution will be ahead of the Presidents swearing in ceremony for his second term on May 29.

The decision was revealed by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, at the end of Thursday’s Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja.

Mohammed noted that until May 22, the cabinet remained intact.

He also revealed that the President would chair a valedictory meeting of members of the Council on that day.
