President Mohammadu Buhari is currently presiding over a security meeting at the state house in Abuja.

The meeting which is taking place at the First Lady Conference room due to ongoing renovations in the council chambers has in attendance the vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari; the defense minister, Major-General Bashir Magashi (Rtd).

Others are General Lucky Irabor, Chief of Defense Staff; Lieutenant-General Ibrahim Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff; Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu, Chief of Naval Staff; and Air Marshal Ishiaka Oladayo Amoo, Chief of Air Staff.

The acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba, is also in the meeting.
