Pride Of Africa…Clement Mudiaga Enajemo Celebrates A Decade Of ‘Mudi’ In Ghana
Household name in the fashion world, Clement Mudiaga Enajemo has a lot to be thankful for.
From beginnings for which the word “humble” would be too nice, Clement has inched his way to the top of the conversation for the biggest name in local and continental fashion.
On the global scene, he is a force to be reckoned with as well. His outfits are regularly display at world fashion capitals. By any measure, Mudi is a made man. By any standards of fashion excellence, Mudi Africa is a made brand.
The enterprising designer will be in Ghana in the next few days to celebrate a decade of the MUDI brand in that country.
His Ghanaian friends and business associates will play honoured hosts to Mudi with a celebratory fest titled “An Evening Mudi”.
The Ghanaian high society, much like their Nigerian counterparts, know good fashion when they see one. Two days after the event, they will troop to the MUDI-exclusive fashion show that will display the very best of the fashion house.
Mudi is someone who believes that success in one place can be replicated elsewhere, with thoughtful tweaks to account for the differences in climes and social mores.
His was the first fashion outfit in Nigeria to take advantage of billboard advertising and he has carried that strategy to the Ghanaian market. It has been very successful.
Mudi’s billboards are all over Accra, the capital, with one featuring Nollywood legend Richard Mofe Damijo displayed imposingly close to the Presidential Palace.
As one of Nigeria’s very successful exports in a time where fashion success stories are few and far between, Mudi’s 10-year anniversary in Ghana is a big event for the Nigerian community.
IonEveryone is eagerly looking forward and also making moves to help make it a resounding success. The Nigerian Embassy in Ghana isn’t left out either; they are doing their best to ensure nothing goes amiss for Mudi.
