A teacher, Mr Femi Oguntumi of Dakata quarters, has reportedly committed suicide in Kano.

The staff of Karish College, did not leave any note to ascertain why he committed suicide, TheNation reports.

The deceased was said to have hung himself on a ceiling fan in his room at about 10pm on Thursday.

Police Spokesman, DSP Haruna Abdullahi, who confirmed the incident, said they have already deposited Femi’s corpse at the Murtala Muhammad Hospital.

The police commissioner has however ordered investigation into what pushed Femi into committing suicide.
