President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Shehu Mohammed as Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC.

Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations at the Presidential Villa, disclosed this on Wednesday.

Until the appointment, Mohammed was the Assistant Corps Marshal of the FRSC.

The appointment is for an initial period of four years with effect from 20th May 2024.

The President tasked the appointee to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new assignment.
