A Friend Indeed…Why Widow of Late GTBank Chief Tayo Aderinokun, Sees Muyiwa Bakare As A Big Brother

Sweet are the blossoms of friendship, when nurtured in the cool shades of pure affection.

Indeed, it takes a luminous soul to beam a good deed into a ghoulish world, and Salamatu Aderinokun, no doubt, displays such lambent character.

The lucent glow of her deeds illumines her immediate and larger world, burnishing her close and random acquaintances with unprecedented goodness.

The second wife and widow of the late Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) former head honcho, Tayo Aderinokun, has found good measure and fulfillment perhaps, in brightening the world of her very close friend and confidant, Muyiwa Bakare.

Just as the meanest and most vicious deeds require spirit and talent, so even the greatest deeds require a certain sensitivity which on other occasions may be deemed clear and unsullied virtuousness.

Thus Salamatu, currently a Director at the Imperial Homes Mortgage Bank, respects her very close friend and confidant, Bakare.

Very few mortals make the famed mane of Salamatu bristle with awe at the mere mention of their name or with their presence. Aside her beloved husband, the other person, arguably, is Bakare.

In a clime devoid of exemplary role models, it is no surprise that she sees in Muyiwa, a quintessential role model and brother figure like no other.
Bakare, a former Managing Director (MD) of the defunct Metropolitan Bank, is the millionaire property magnate behind CadWell. The son of Chief S. O Bakare, founder of Oluwalogbon Motors fame has, however, been helping Salamatu for a while.

Salamatu has gotten so fond of Bakare that at every mention of his name, her face breaks into a hearty grin and a smile dances around her finely sculpture lips.
